Woodland Wings Faux "Dori"

by Jenny Heft

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at my newest Junk Journal for Ephemera's Vintage Garden using the "Woodland Wings" kit!

I have decided to mix up Junk Journaling and a Faux Dori to make the journal you are seeing here. I used an elastic closure as well as two elastics inside to hold a booklet that I hand sewed, as well as a larger envelope to keep any added goodies! I used heavy weight cardstock as the cover and inked around the edges using Vintage photo, I took the printable ephemera pieces and resized them to make tucks, pockets, and even tags. I have collected vintage pieces from various places and included them inside my Journal. I hope you enjoy taking a look as much as I enjoyed making this fabulous Journal! I LOVE the Woodland Wings kit so much!!

Love the Size
by: Lorie

Jenny, your faux dori is wonderful! I really love the size and your use of the acetate was brilliant - it gave me an idea for future journals. Also got inspired by your use of printing on music paper - going to try that one as well! Thank you for the inspiration!!
