What are the best tips for adhering napkins?

Hi, I'm loving this website! I was wondering if you all ever use paper napkins to make journal covers or pages in journals and what type of glue you would use or a specific type of paper it would adhere to??

Thanks,
Becca

I use napkins but rarely the entire image. I fussy cut the images I like and add them to other things that I layer on the cover or page.

Glue for Napkin

I do! First I make sure the added white part of the napkins are taken off so all you have is the one ply picture of your napkin. I place it where I want it and use modge podge matte to glue it on. I don't put it under the napkin too or it gets too wet and tears. Just top coat. Let it dry then add another good coat. Hope that helps! Marie

Glue For Napkins

I put the napkin material on washi tape about one inch wide and used that on a spine with sewn signatures to hide the signatures.
