Using Book Jackets
In Junk Journals

by Debbie-Anne

Recycle your book jackets! The dust covers on books make great pages in junk journals.

They often have beautiful images on them, and the flaps that fold inside the book's cover make great pockets/tuck spots!

You can also use them to embellish journal covers. Or, use the images and text in collages, mixed media, art journaling.

If you can think of other ways to use them, comment below!

Great idea using book jackets in a journal. I think they would also make cool envelopes too.

Great idea Debbie-Anne I often like the jacket cover better than the book it self and end up not buying it but I'll be chaning how I pick them now I know I can glue them down. Thank you

Such a good idea. I never thought beyond removing them when I read the book. These will make great additions to journal I make.
