This awesome pocket planner book is made from the Shabby N' Chic digital download from Ephemera's Vintage Garden. I made it by printing out the images on 8.5x11 inch cardstock, trimming away the white margin, folding each page in half and then gluing it to a "hidden hinge". If you click the video to go to YouTube, I have a link in the description box to a tutorial for the hidden hinge system.
I love making pocket page books for different projects. In this case, it's a birthday planner where I can keep birthday cards and lists. I made it with 12 pocket pages- one for every month and in each pocket is a tag with another pocket that holds my list of birthday babies for that month.
Towards the end of every month, I can flip to the next month and see who is celebrating a birthday the following month and make my plans for cards and gifts.
I've also made pocket page books for expectant mothers- it makes the world's easiest baby book because mom can just collect notes and keepsakes in the pockets during baby's first year and then, when she has a little more time, she can embellish it and add photos to the pages, etc.
This is my last project as a member of the Design Team- I have loved the experience and I'm so grateful to Debbie for the opportunity!
