Seam Binding 'Crinkle' Clips

Here's how I give my seam binding a crinkled look. I do this right after I've colored it and it's still wet.

It's so simple - I just bunch it into a small wad and clip it. Sometimes I use my heat gun to speed up the drying process, but most times I just let it air dry.

I also clip seam binding that has been sitting for a long while and lost some of its crinkle. I just mist it lightly with water first.

(I have done crinkling by placing it bunched up in a plastic bag, but drying takes longer. This gives it the same effect but in less time.)

I hope you find this tip helpful!

xoxo
