Grunge Paper

by Janet Marion

I was watching a video from EVG where you made a "list" journal from a black file folder and it had a grunge paper spine. In the video you said you painted it because you liked the leather feel of it. Is there a video showing how to do that process?

Grunge Paper

It is a product made by Tim Holtz...gray in color and soft/smooth to the touch...is thinner than grunge board but can be torn/cut...can color with stains/paints...is more flexible than chipboard/cardboard so can use for spine of a junk journal...wonderful stuff:)

Painted Grunge Paper
by: Debbie-Anne

Hi Janet, I don't have a video of the process. I just painted acrylic paint with a sponge brush. The grunge paper seems to take paint really well and leaves it feeling soft and supple. You can add a seal such as mod modge or collage medium if you want. I hope that helps!
